@ukscone Not 100% monosyllabic, but I applaud the attempt lol.
Could make a neat spoken word piece over some smoky smooth jazz.
@Random_Seed I agree with Ron, probably $250-350 range, depending on your haggling skills and the seller's starting point.
@HeNeArXn You have a ghost.
@byteshift69 Glitchworks makes a drop in replacement that uses a coin cell, if you don't want to go through the hassle. They're awesome.
Today's #linux discovery was the "btop" utility. I particularly like how it shows the cpu temperature 😎
@DosFox@tech.lgbt Reading that thread over at VCF gives a lot of ideas of the limitations of a direct swap. You'd need a lot more circuitry than just the CPU pin adaptation, but a direct-plug "interposer" would be kinda neat. I'd imagine even an extremely basic adapter would still have to be sizeable.
@DosFox@tech.lgbt Here's a thread of a few folks doing just that.

@foone For charging, you should put in one of those "shake a can" style generators. Then all the wanking motions you make at your coworker's bad jokes will recharge the battery!
My latest Terrible Keyboard is out, in video form this time (1m39s). It's the CubeKeyboard!

@lorddimwit The first Linux distro I ever installed was Slackware 10. Didn't last that long, as I had no idea what I was doing at the time. Ended up on Ubuntu in 2008 and then Xubuntu shortly after, and have never looked back.
@ClarusPlusPlus you are now free to move about the map.
@yearof Who is providing said LSD? Do I get an unlimited supply? We gonna party like it's the 60s again!
@drunkenmadman Well that makes sense. I never realized it was a completely different company in AU than US.
@ActionRetro S100 is a lot of fun :D Looks like I guessed correctly.
@ActionRetro Definitely a SOL-20 lol.
