@thatKomputerKat @yestergearpc A similar tale happened with my cousin. I built him a PC about 20 years ago, and after using it for a few months one day it decided to stop booting.
So I asked him to bring it back to me so that I could fix it for him and he responds with "yeah, nah, I threw it off a cliff." 🤦♂️
