Since there’s such a great #retrocomputing community here, I have to ask: does anyone know someone that repairs older gear? Preferably in/near NYC.

I have a Mac SE in need of help. Was booting ok, but now have a sad Mac at power on.

in the late 90s and early 2000s i was in an #oldwarez group called ATLANTiS. we released long forgotten #DOS (and later, #win3.1 & #win95) abandonware. most of it ended up on usenet, in alt.binaries.warez.ibm-pc.old.

here are three of our ascii nfo files supplied at three distinct periods of our tiny group's history. as the group aged, the ascii art improved, and the member list shrivelled to just myself.

@saluk @saluk Just tried that out, its telling me that the
"script inherits type 'kinematicbody2d', so it cant be instanced in object of type: 'node2D' "

@PumpkinsLinked So I think you just need to drag actor.gd onto Player.

Here's a little demo, I'm hoping to get VGA output at some point but that might be a while
